2a- "..Nelson Goerner legt eine atemberaubende Einspielung vor, die in ihrer Vielschichtigkeit der Komplexität des Werks voll gerecht wird. Der 1969 geborene Künstler, der 1997 mit einer bemerkenswerten Chopin-CD (EMI) auf sich aufmerksam gemacht hat, baut dramaturgisch geschickt einen mächtigen Klavierton auf ("Harmonies du soir") und entfaltet das Werk in orchestraler Farbenpracht. Er spielt das virtuose Moment voll aus, setzt wuchtige Oktavgänge oder schwindelerregende Läufe aber so dramatisch-markant ein, dass das Suchend-Leidenschaftliche dieser Musik über die spieltechnische Lust dominiert.
